28 Jan Google Approves Jeff Klein of Power Play Marketing for New Helpout Service
If you have questions about web design, Internet marketing or social media, Jeff Klein can “helpout”.
Google Helpouts is an online collaboration service from Google that launched in November 2013. The service allows users to share their expertise through live video and provide real-time help from their computers or mobile devices.
“I’m excited about Google Helpouts and the opportunity to be a part of it,” explains Klein. “The platform allows me to share my passion for technology and help others too. Google Helpouts breaks down geographic barriers and connects people with those willing and able to help them.”
According to Google, Helpouts offers “real help from real people in real time.” Users can choose who they get help from based on the provider’s qualifications, availability, price, ratings and reviews. Once selected, users can connect with a provider instantly or reserve their Helpout session in advance.
Helpout Providers include both qualified individuals and national brands such as Sephora, Weight Watchers and Redbeacon (a Home Depot company). Providers create and maintain listings that explain what they offer, their qualifications, their prices, and their schedules. Every listing has a link to the provider’s Helpouts calendar. Currently available by invitation only, providers must pass Google’s screening process to qualify.
Once in a Helpout, users can do more than just talk—they can share their computer screen, collaboratively edit a presentation, or record their Helpout. If unsatisfied with the experience, Google offers a full money back guarantee.
